Wednesday

After a less than steller tennis day yesterday, today appears to be a whole lot better. Clearing sky's for this afternoon means tennis in the upper courts.

Looks to be around 3:00 pm, I know several have expressed their commitment to be there.

Nick, what time do you expect to be around? If you get there earlier, let me know.

Roy Prior just called to remind everyone he's going to be at the mixer at Magnolia village this Saturday at 1pm,
tel. for the rec. center there is 386-4235.
Pat, Mark Aaron and his wife, Karen, Garfield Joesph, Gordon and I will be there.
There are four tennis courts, next to a large baseball field and near a business district. Parking is free all day in front of homes west of the courts.

Well WS Dave, sounds fun, and have fun.

Alas I didn't play today, lazy and it was cold and well I have all sorts of excuses.

I did get my racquets today from Nik who always does a fine job stringing. I ordered a new Fischer M pro 98 and can't wait to get it of course, then I have to have it strung.. wait wait and wait some more. I don't know if anyone has used one but boy it is a solid racquet.. Norm, Not Frey started using one and his game has really picked up, hoping the same for my poor sloppy game.

Well I used this time to do alot around the house.. tomorrow, I'm hoping for a much better day, a little sun I see is forcasted, been awhile since they have been able to say that. Next few days in fact look pretty tennis friendly and then I see its back to the chill next week.
