Reasons to post
Its fun
Players enjoy hearing from you
tennis talk is always fun
Have a venue to express and release those inner desires to tell it how it is.
Your a tennis player, there fore you are a participator there fore your a doer.
Its a good medium to share ideas.
Keeps you off the street
Makes you look like you have somthing to do.
I can go on and on.. but I won't.. you go..
I'll be over taking some updated pictures of the courts possibly today.. the old/new courts at lower woodland that is.

Reasons to post; because it works and it's fast.
Here's my contribution for today.
Early in May I heard Raman (not sure about name spelling) talking to Roy Prior about creating a tennis organization for lower woodland and having one or two persons appointed as spokespersons. He said the reason for that is in one voice would speak in our behalf to the city or the park dept. and tell them what our ideas or needs are. Since the people in gov't don't use the courts they have no idea what will be needed. He was saying there wouldn't be any dues.
He was collecting phone numbers for the regular players. I haven't seen him since.
The recreational baseball players in the city are very well organized, they have been successful having the city do things for them. So being organized can be a good thing. Can someone comment on this, is Raman still working on that?

Good news!
Courts are dry,
of course, there is gale force gusts blowing.. for a more challenging match.
