Tuesday - Rather slow today, I was there briefly at the upper courts to try out my new weapon.. Fischer m pro 1.. I like it and am ready for all who dare!
Tish was there.. wanted everyone to know, seems she thinks no one knows, and if they did know, everyone would be there.. so I guess nobody knew.
That being said, Dean was also there, and he figured everyone knew he would be there so they all stayed away. I did my best to assure him that not everyone knew he was there so there had to be another reason.
Paul came down to warm up anyone who was going to play.. seems he has become sort of a designated warm up guy. But, I find it alittle much when he wants to warm you up, in between change overs. Kinda odd. Maybe he forgets to wear the pyramid to bed or somthing.
Joseph, made a rare appearance from 160th.. the garden of the tennis world, guess no one see's fit to go there, I dont know why though, its so far. Unfortunetly, as soon as he got there everyone left, though I did see a boy and his dog come to play.. oh that would be Peter and Max.
Funny, Max always barks when Peter's losing.
Well just a fore-warning.
Dean will be at Upper courts Wed.. I know, I can't believe it either, but its true..
and
Tish, don't call me Trish will be there also. She for all who don't know is one of the only fem's to come to play, but she comes from over in Siberia for visits and stays only a couple of days.. It works out well cause I don't know how long we can keep our good behavior going if she stayed any longer.
Well see ya all at the courts.

Real hitters please come out to play
There was once a real hitter from the plain
Who didn't play in the rain
So he went up the street to think
which made him really drink
Now his game is in the drain.
Lincoln Park today was wide open with very few players. We arrived at 11:30am and the only players I saw were three of the regulars sitting on the bench, they looked like beached whales. Around noon time another regular showed up so we were lucky and played three sets of doubles.
We were the only players there at that time.
I would have never believed that Lincoln Park would ever be this dead. In the 1980's it was the best park in the city for being able to pick up a game. We left around 2:30pm, no one was there.
I wish the guys at upper woodland could figure out a way to car pool from the parking lot there and come out to Lincoln Park for the afternoon. We are getting tired of playing the same players.
Tomorrow, we will be there at 11am. Pat is going to be there too.
